RACE NOTICE

The Club Nautique d'Antibes (CNA) announces the 2004 edition of the regatta open to the TORNADO, DART, DRAGON, ETCHELL 22,  FORMULA 18, CLASS A and FIREBALL classes.
The regatta is organised under the authority of the Federation Française de Voile and the patronage of Mr Jean LEONETTI, député at the Assemblé Nationale and mayor of Antibes.
The contest is organised in co-operation with the Conseil Regional PACA and the Conseil Général of the Alpes Maritimes.
The contests are governed by the rules of the International Sailing Federaiton (ISAF), the prescriptions of the Fédération Française de Voile, the class rules applicable and the sailing instructions.
TORNADO : rule 6 will not be applied

The registration forms must be returned the the Club Nautique d'Antibes, Port Vauban, 06600 Antibes - France before the 15th of january 2004, accompanied by a cheque to the amount of 30 Euro per crew (or 15 Euro per Junior crew and Class A). These fees will be increased by 50% for registrations received after the date. Registration will be available on the internet website

Circuit
Windward/Leeward. Classes will be sail on separate circuits (Fireball on olympic triangle). A raid can be organized for catamarans.

Point system
The minima scoring system will be applied. The maximum number of races will be 9.

Tuesday 27th and wednesday 28th of January
Reception at Port Gallice, Juan les Pins (Boulevard E.Baudin)
Confirmation of registration after obligatory presentation of licences and certificates of conformity
Distribution of the sailing instructions.

Thursday 29st of January - all classes ski at Auron
In the morning, giant slalom (counting for the attribution of the arrow of the French School of Ski)
Special prize awards for each class. Possibility for the coaches to participate in the slalom.
In the afternoon, exploration of the ski station
At around 16:00, reception in a restaurant at the bottom of the ski piste, announcement of results.

Friday 30st January - regatta
10:30 Tornado, Dart, Dragon, Etchell 22, Formula 18,  Fireball at the disposition of the race committee.
13:30 Class A  at the disposition of the race committee.

Saturday 31st January - regatta
10:30 All classes at the disposition of the race committee.

Sunday 1st February - regatta
10:30 All classes at the disposition of the race committee
Distribution of prizes as soon as possible after the last round of the day.
